Norwich Kind City Map will be the city’s first digital accessibility and kindness map. We understand that everyone’s accessibility needs are different. This is why our map will host detailed, accurate information using facts, figures and photos evaluated by service users.
Join our community of Map Makers
Norwich Kind City Map (NKCM) will be continuously updated with information by our community of Map Makers.
As part of our community you will be supported to engage with businesses, organisations and city events to get up-to-date accessibility facilities information. You will feed back to the community whether venues in the city offer a welcoming, pleasant experience for people with disabilities and barriers.
Who are we working with?
We are hugely grateful to The Norwich Freemen’s Charity for funding the development of the Norwich Kind City Map project.
Our business and organisation supporters include Norwich City Council, Norfolk County Council, UEA, Norwich BID, VisitNorwich and The Forum. We will have frequent conversations about sustaining and improving barrier-free and considerate experiences for residents and visitors.
Our charitable organisation supporters include Equal Lives, Norwich Access Group, DRAGONs and AbilityNet. We will work with our supporters to keep up with best practice models and the needs of their clients.
